I watched Life of Pi with family last Tuesday.A friend told me that it is biblical and infact, yes it's true. Those lines I remembered striked lighting bolt cutting sharp right straight to my heart! It was like when you are in a situation where you still try to search for reasons your emotions react to scenes similar to that effect without consciousness. It was awkward at the same time because I did cried a lot, while managing to keep it from my sister's view. But she didnt bother maybe because we have different take to that and she's used to me being lokaret. Anyway, there are some points to ponder like:
** noah's ark - where he has to survive alone with his animal
**Pi as pissing as lion, his mother as orangutan, the sailor as zebra and the chef as hyena.
** Pi's father said you only see your reflection in the eyes of the lion (one clue)
**the banana's dont float! so how did the orangutan survived from ship wreck carried only by floating banana's? (it's just pissing story haha)
lessons learned:
**Pissing was bullied, so he tried to explain his name came from Pi that's equivalent to 3.14 and the number goes on to infinity - But you dont have to prove yourself to anyone, you cant please everyone. Just do your best, dont mind them - focus on your task give your best because all you do is offered to the Lord - you reap your reward from GOD not from them.
** Lord I surrender to you myself, I got nothing, I lost everything. - but Pi did not die, he went to the lowest point of his life where he lost all his possessions and loved ones - his family. In the end he survived.
**He was given chances to choose his GOD - whatever his father says against GOD, Pi still chose to be baptized as Christian- Catholic.
**He was challenged not because God wanted to see what he's going to do when all that's left of him is HOPE-God knew Pi's life's story from the beginning and to the end - God just wanted Pi to realized that his God never fails - always on right timing. God is just and will never forsake his children who are in need.
**DONT LOSE HOPE!
**Pi was afraid, but he still kept on trying to survive - because LIFE IS A GIFT
**He was giving to lion - even lion was an enemy from the start- LOVE YOUR ENEMY!
**Does rational thinking or any scientific fact can prove feelings of human?! I DONT THINK SO, science cannot even prove who's my crush or whom I'm inlove with! HA! But my GOD - I can feel HIM, he knows he understands and he cares - And He is telling me that I am on my way :)
**When you are with people whom you love ever so dearly, hug them - say you love them. Or you could just wish you should have done that when they are still with you - that is when you already lost them. Say sorry when you hurt their feelings - and just let it be. Forgive! FORGIVENESS is FREEDOM!
**One day, you will lost all of it - what will be left is the love for people and the memories you create with them- so start making your own - make it a good one! Find pleasure in miss adventures - because there lies a treasure! EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF ADVENTURE!!! Life is a short dont you think? So always find ways to make you happy cause it will all be worthit! woot!
**Have faith.. It saves!
**On an island - where Pi is safe and all is bountiful- did he stayed? NO - why? Because we dont settle for anything less, we are far greater than that. God wants us to see his treasure do not just lie on material things, things that make us comfortable - Take risk, sail, find your true treasure. Just dont settle for anything less - your journey is not yet the end. God wants us to see what he has instore for us. GO FORTH.
**CRY for pity's sake! Breakdown, express your loneliness, hatred and remorse there's nothing wrong with those. But after sometime, collect yourself, get back on track, keep your goal in sight. PRAY! Talk to Him, by then you will know the answer.
**Thank You God that I am ALIVE.
